Interactive Storybook
This project explores how storytelling can be made more engaging by combining paper-craft with physical computing. While interactive storytelling is common in digital media and installations, there has been little exploration of interactive storybooks that connect to a screen. By bringing together traditional craft and interactive components, this project offers a new way to create interactive publications. Using three interactive spreads as an artefact, it shows how a screen can act as an extension of the book, adding to the storytelling experience. As an additional experiment, the project also looks at how the experience changes when the same pop-ups are shown in a non-interactive pop-up book.
